Construction

Short-term mission trip teams are witnesses for Jesus Christ, while building homes for Honduran families. The people and families we help are usually living in housing that is either adobe, stick built, plastic, or they do not have a home at all. As ministry leaders, we validate property ownership prior to the ministry team constructing a home, and partner with Honduran churches and members of the community along the way.  The cost for a team to build a home is $3,500, which includes all materials to build a block home with a concrete floor, roof, 2 doors, and 2 windows. Contact us to get more information on how to support this ministry, or to organize a team and join us in building a home for a Honduran family.

YOUR MINISTRY TEAM:

Teams will consist of  3 to 7 people; ages 16 or older, (age 15 if accompanied by a parent or guardian). A Honduran Pastor will lead your construction team in building the house. Local church members and people in the community where you will be working will assist in the construction. Evangelism teams will work alongside of a local congregation to conduct their ministry.

If you or your church would like to send funds to build a home for a Honduran, the cost will be $4000.00. This will allow the ministry to hire Honduran men to build the home and give them much needed income. This will also give these Christian men the opportunity to witness to their own people. Just go to the Contact/Donate  to see where to send funds and indicate for Home Construction.

Evangelism

Ministry teams are given the opportunity to go into Honduran communities, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ while partnering with local Honduran churches and families. Teams are encouraged to facilitate and conduct Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the children in the area they are ministering to, and will be a witness for Jesus Christ.  A translator is provided and assigned to the team. Contact us for more information.
